| History Who are we? Scuderia Kelana is an organization solely dedicated to the development of motor sports in Malaysia. We provide team management and consultancy services among racing competitors in Malaysia. Results 1999 Proton International 300KM Race. A race which, most Malaysian competitors would rather forget. Scuderia Kelana entered seven cars running by the name of Team USPD. The race was held at the Sepang International Circuit. It attracted a full grid entry because this is the first time a race was to be run on the full circuit. The race started without any drama but halfway through the circuit timing system failed. The race was not stopped because the organizer, SIC were confident that the system could be restored. In the end, there was no result until this very day. But being a Malaysian and it is a tradition that we Malaysian are always forgiving. Because we realized that every human tend to make mistake. 1999 Malaysian Grand Prix - Production Car Support Race. We entered five entries, lead by Kan Chee Hong, Jimmy Low and Eric Yeoh. Again, USPD sponsored our entry. Our team was dominant with our only treat coming from Keifli Othman, then running under the Team Genesis World Racing. However by the second lap, Keifli's treat fell wayward and dominantly, we finished the race sweeping all the podium places - 1,2 & 3. 2000 Jugra Challenge Round One. The race was organized by Motorsport Solution. We have no plans to enter this race but our drivers was very keen to have a go in this series. We also had problems getting sponsors for this series because of it's unknown organizer. At the eleventh hour, Castrol was kind enough to support our team and we proceed with entering three cars, driven by Ng Kok Chin, Nurmad Jusat and Wong Yew Choong. The result was encouraging with our team taking the third, fourth and fifth placing. However, that is the one and only race of the series. The organizer having promised five round and have already taken the championship fees fled away and lost without trace. Merdeka Millennium 12 Hour Endurance Race. The was held as a celebration of Malaysia's independent day. We entered two cars in the class B (Production Car up to 1800cc). USPD and Castrol sponsored our effort in this race. The team consist of Keifli, Nurmad, Kok Chin, yew Choong, Alfie Othman and Sheikh Munshee. We were fastest in our class during qualifying. In the race, we were dominant until the ninth hour, when our leading car retired with engine problems. The second car took the lead but after eleven hours, it too retired with transmission and brake problem. 2001 Malaysian Grand Prix - Production Car Support Race. Being the defending champion team, we were under a lot of pressure. Jimmy Low, Keifli Othman and Ng Kok Chin were entrusted to defend the title. Castrol is our sponsor in this race. Jimmy took pole in qualifying while Keifli and Kok Chin had numerous problem with their cars. In the race, Jimmy took an early lead. Keifli was unfortunate when he forced off the circuit by a fellow competitor. In the end, Jimmy won the race and defended our title, while Kok Chin had to settle for fifth.
